acquisition
When you think of acquisition, picture a big box of toys. Sometimes, a toy store might want to have more toys to make kids happy. So, they decide to buy another store’s toys and put them in their own store. This way, they have more toys to play with and share with everyone.
Imagine you have a cookie jar. You want more cookies, so you ask your friend if you can have some of theirs. When they say yes and give you some cookies, you have acquired more cookies. Your cookie jar is now fuller and has more variety.
Think of a puzzle. You have some pieces, but not enough to finish the picture. You get more pieces from another puzzle box. Now, with these new pieces, you can complete the picture. This is like acquisition because you are getting more pieces to make something better.
In a garden, you have some flowers, but you want more colors. If you get some plants from another garden, you can have a more colorful garden. This is what acquisition does: it helps make things bigger and better by adding more to what you already have.
