A bat is a small animal that likes to fly around at night. Think of it as a little superhero that only comes out when the sky is dark. Bats have wings like birds, but they are made of skin stretched over their long fingers, kind of like a tiny umbrella.

Imagine if your hands could turn into wings, and you could fly around your room in the dark without bumping into anything. Bats do this by using a special power called echolocation. They make little sounds that bounce off objects, telling them where everything is, like a secret map in the air.

Bats are also like tiny gardeners of the night. They help flowers grow by spreading pollen, just like bees do during the day. Some bats even eat fruit and help plant new trees by dropping seeds as they fly. So, bats might be small, but they do big jobs to help nature.

Even though bats might seem a little spooky because they come out at night, they’re just like you and me, doing their best to help out in their own special way.
