dirty
When something is dirty, it means it has stuff on it that shouldn’t be there, like when your toy falls in the mud and gets all brown and sticky. It’s like when you spill juice on your shirt, and it leaves a stain that feels icky and wet.
Think of a clean window where you can see outside clearly. If the window is dirty, it might have dust or fingerprints on it, making it hard to see through. Just like when you play outside and your hands get grimy with sand and dirt, and you need to wash them to make them shiny and clean again.
Imagine a white sheet of paper. If you draw all over it with crayons, it becomes messy and colorful. That’s a bit like being dirty because it’s not plain and white anymore.
Being dirty is like when your puppy runs through a puddle and gets his paws all muddy. He needs a bath to get all the dirt off and be fluffy and soft again.
