excess
Excess is like when you have too many toys in your toy box. If the box is already full but you keep putting more toys in, they start to spill over. The toys that spill out are the excess because there are too many to fit inside.
Think of excess as when you pour too much milk into your cereal bowl. If the milk starts to overflow and spill onto the table, the milk on the table is the excess. It’s more than you need or can handle.
Excess can also be like when you eat too much candy. Your tummy might start to hurt because you’ve had more than what is good for you. The extra candy that makes you feel uncomfortable is the excess.
Imagine drawing with too many crayons at once. If you try to hold all the crayons in your hand, some might fall. The crayons that fall are the excess because you can’t hold them all at the same time.
Excess is simply more than what is needed or wanted. It’s the extra bit that doesn’t fit or feels too much.
