exclude
When you exclude something, it’s like when you’re playing with your blocks and you decide not to use the red ones. You put them aside and only play with the blue and yellow blocks. The red blocks are not part of the game now, they are left out.
Imagine you’re having a party and you have a list of friends to invite. If you exclude someone, it means you choose not to write their name on the invitation list. They won’t be coming to the party this time.
Think about a big box of crayons. If you only want to use the green and purple crayons for your picture, you exclude all the other colors. You keep them in the box and don’t use them for this drawing.
In a way, excluding is like when you have a sandwich and you pick out the tomatoes because you don’t want them in your sandwich. The tomatoes stay on the plate while you enjoy the rest of your sandwich. It’s about choosing what not to have or use.
