hardship
Hardship is like when you’re playing with a puzzle that has lots of pieces, and some of the pieces are missing. You try very hard to finish it, but without all the pieces, it feels frustrating and difficult. Hardship means things are not as easy as you’d like them to be, and you have to work extra hard to solve the problem.
Another way to think about hardship is like climbing a big hill. When you start at the bottom, the hill looks very tall and hard to climb. As you walk up, your legs might get tired, and you might want to stop. But if you keep going, even if it’s tough, you become stronger and can see the beautiful view from the top. Hardship is the tough part of the climb.
Hardship can also feel like a rainy day when you want to play outside. The rain makes it hard to do what you want, and you have to find new ways to have fun indoors. Hardship teaches us to be creative and patient, waiting for the sun to shine again.
