inflate
Inflate is like when you have a big, empty balloon and you blow air into it to make it bigger and rounder. The balloon starts small, but as you add more air, it grows and stretches. Just like how your tummy might feel full when you eat a lot of food, the balloon feels full when it has a lot of air inside. Inflating is all about making something grow by adding air or gas inside.
Think of a bouncy castle at a party. When it’s all flat on the ground, it doesn’t look like much fun. But when air is pumped into it, it inflates and becomes a big, bouncy playground! The air makes it tall and strong so you can jump around safely.
Another way to understand inflate is by thinking about a tire on a car or a bike. If the tire is flat, the car or bike can’t move well. But when you pump air into the tire, it inflates and becomes round and firm, helping the car or bike to roll smoothly down the road.
