When you think about medium, picture a bowl of soup. If the soup is too hot, it might burn your tongue. If it’s too cold, it won’t taste as good. But when it’s just right, it’s warm and yummy. That perfect temperature is what we call medium.

Imagine you’re on a seesaw at the playground. When one side goes up too high, the other side goes down too low. But when both sides are balanced, the seesaw is in the middle, or at the medium point. It’s not too high or too low, just perfectly balanced.

Think of a traffic light with three colors: red, yellow, and green. Red means stop, green means go, and yellow is in the middle. Yellow is the medium color that tells you to be careful and get ready to move. It’s not as fast as green or as slow as red, it’s right in between.

Consider a storybook with pages. If you only read the beginning, you might miss the adventure, and if you skip to the end, you won’t understand the journey. The middle part is where the exciting things happen, and that’s the medium part of the story.
