pump
A pump is like a magic helper that moves things from one place to another. Imagine you have a straw and you want to drink juice from a box. When you suck on the straw, you’re using your mouth like a pump to move the juice into your mouth. The pump helps to push or pull things, like water, air, or even your bike tires, to make them work better.
Think of a balloon. When you blow air into it, you’re pumping air inside. The balloon gets bigger and bigger because the pump (your mouth) is moving air into it. Pumps help us fill things up or move things around easily, just like how your lungs pump air in and out when you breathe.
Imagine a garden hose. When you turn on the water, a pump helps push water through the hose, so you can water your plants. Without a pump, the water would just stay still. Pumps are like little engines that help move things to where they need to be, making our lives easier and more fun.
