range
Think of a range like a playground. When you play on the playground, there is a space where you can run, jump, and play. The range is like the area where you are allowed to play. If you go too far, you might leave the playground. So, the range tells you where you can go and where you can’t.
Imagine you have a box of crayons. The range is like the colors you can use. If you have crayons from red to blue, your range is from red to blue. You can use any color in between, like yellow or green, but you can’t use purple or pink because they are outside your range.
Think about your favorite TV show. The range is like the episodes you can watch. If there are episodes from number 1 to number 10, your range is from episode 1 to episode 10. You can watch any episode in between, but not episode 11 or 12 because they are not in your range.
The range helps us understand the limits or boundaries of something, whether it’s a playground, crayons, or TV episodes.
